Henna Day :)

This weekend I dubbed full strength henna weekend. The last treatment I did was probably back in January if not December so I was in need of it. So once I knew I had my henna boxes available there was nothing to stop me.

The Process:
Friday morning(Yes this kinda ..almost made me late for work) at about 6:50am I mixed my henna powder box. I used an entire 100g box plus two other packages that I ha in the freezer left over from past treatments. I mixed the powder up with a cup of two tea bags of  green tea and one black tea brewed.  Mixed it up until the consistency resembles yogurt. I covered it up and let it sit on the counter until I got home at about 7pm.

As I got home I added some bhringraj powder, cocout oil and honey to the henna mixture. I hopped in the shower and clarified with my ORS+ baking soda shampoo mixture then followed up with my Elasta qp Creme shampoo. My hair felt very clean and soft .. thumbs up! I let my hair dry to 80% and then added the henna. I did not detangle simple out of laziness, I detangled before washing and wanted the process to be over. At about 10pm I had applied the mixture to my entire head. I saran wrapped put on a plastic bag then bonnet and went to chill until bed time.

The next morning I got up after 10am got my barings together then opt to go outside and hose down the henna out of my head. I decided to use the  hose cause I did not want to mess the bathroom up. It made the process much easier. OMG.. guys I cowashed  with  Herbal essences Hello Hydration and it was the best decision ever! Its one of the products I used back then that I stopped and now. Aussie moist deeeeep conditioner cannot hold a candle to it! My hair felt like butter! Like seriously. Before I would cowash with Aussie and it was just "Uhhh" and my hair didnt feel soft or even good.

It took about three cowash wot get most of it out and then deep conditioned with my Keracare Humecto +JBCO +CO+HE HH with heat for 30 minutes. I loved the results of the hello hydration so much I added it to my DC.

Conclusion:
This was the best henna treatment ever. After I dried (Air and blow dry) and moisturised my hair is soft especially my new growth, its flowy and feels so healthy. Where I am at the moment makes me feel that I can stretch much longer but I doubt I will lol.  Henna treatments is something I plan to keep on doing.

LOL!

Aliexpress Update.

So I told you guys about my issues with the Aliexpress vendor 7A Queen Hair Store. Those who do not know here's a link as to what I am referring to. Click here.

As you can see the vendor and I have been communicating since late February and this is April 19th and STILL NO REFUND!. The seller was pressuring me to give them a 5 star feedback in order to get my refund. I was totally against it because I don't see why I should review a hair as good when it is not. I wouldn't recommend any of my friends to try this hair unless they want the style for two weeks.

After a month+ of going back and forth and not wanting to give the feedback I eventually caved because I was upset that I paid for that piece of crap hair. The seller told me and this is verbatim "return to you $25 you give me a 5 star feed back right?" This was said on April 3rd. So I gave the feedback on April 11th and you know what the response was "friend, my boss will return to you $15"
All I could do was  just laugh how pissed off I am. Today is April 19th and still no refund whether $15 or $25

I am begging you guys PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from these people. I don't see why their rating is so high. I guess its because of people like me who receive crap hair and promise their refund for good rating! Please don't buy and tell all your friends!

What Really Happens:

I am in love with this product! I first stumbled on this product back in December 2014 while on Hairlista when I was looking for a new leave-in conditioner. I decided to do some research and I have to admit I was a bit skeptical and I always leaned more towards cream based leave-ins. Also too that the products that I have tried that said they had "detangling" propertied never really lived up to expectations. I took the plunge.

This product does not disappoint in anyway. I can remember the first time I tried it, I literally had an hairgasm. This products is amazing, provides so much slip for detangling that you really don't have to do much. This was a bonus for me because it was a time when my hair wouldn't cooperate. I was continuously having knots and y hair just wouldn't budget. I even contemplated just cutting my hair to a very short length. Yeah, I was in a bad state.  I have read other reviews that said that it was sticky and smelled funny but I love the smell and its not sticky at all. I really recommend this product and will continue purchasing as a staple product

Product review: Herbal Essence Touchably Smooth Split End Protector

PRODUCT REVIEW:
HE Touchably Smooth Split End Protector( Long Term Relationship Moisturizer)
March 28th 2015

Description:
Stop feeling like you're in splitsville. This is the beginning of beautiful ends. My formula quenches your strands for smoothness and help strengthen them against breakage. Your hair will feel as smooth as silk. Go ahead, touch , toss, or twirl.

Ingredients:
Water/EAU, Stearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Dimethicone, Glutamic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Fragrance/Parfum, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Chloride, Methylisothiazolinone, Zea Mays (Corn) Silk Extract, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract, Hydrolyzed Silk.

What Really Happens:
I am very pleased with this product. It leaves my hair hydrated, softens and add luster without weighing down. For someone with naturally thin hair I am very selective of what product I use on my hair because some tend to leave my hair weighed down. This product does not do this. I used it before like in 2013 and then switched to Darcy Botanicals Lemongrass Transitioning Creme. DB was definitely not for me. It really weighed my hair down, I could never moisturize every day. But now I am back.

This product can also double up as a leave -in which I do air drying my hair sometimes. It can be used daily and leave your hair well moisturized. Overall, its a great product , one o my staple products and I highly recommend it.
